Qatar Airways to boost services to Italy

(MENAFN) Qatar Airways said that it has made the decision to increase the capacity on its flights to Italy by introducing a wide-body aircraft to Rome and Milan starting March 29 and on June 16 to Venice, resulting in increasing its capacity to these destinations by 30 percent, QNA reported.

The carrier said that the increase in capacity to Italy, to which QA offers 35 flights a week including flights to Venice Marco Polo, will be provided by introducing the Airbus A330 on the Milan and Venice routes, and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Rome route.

QA also said that it has decided to introduce double-daily flights to Madrid Barajas Airport from Doha's Hamad International Airport, starting June 16, thus adding four flights a week that will be operated by a Boeing 777, increasing its capacity by 40 percent to Spain's largest city, as it works on expanding its European network.

"Our commitment to bringing a five-star experience to all our passengers is reflected in our continual growth in not just our destinations, product and services, but also in the increases in capacity and frequency that we implement to ensure that our passengers have multiple options when planning their journeys," Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive said.
