(MENAFN- AFP) President Petro Poroshenko said on Wednesday that Ukraine will be able to completely break its expensive natural gas dependence on Russia by 2017.
"I am absolutely sure that in two years' time, we will be absolutely energy independent from Russia," the pro-Western leader told the World Economic Forum in Davos. "We have an absolutely new way for receiving our European gas. We will have shale gas technology inside the country."
