(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the third edition of the Family Security and Safety Forum commenced today.
The three-day forum, organised by the Community Police Department in cooperation and coordination with the Peripheral Regions Directorate, is taking place at the Heritage Village at the Emirates Park Zoo in Abu Dhabi.
Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Muhairom, Head of the Community Police Department in Abu Dhabi, stressed that the Forum is part of the efforts exerted by the Community Police to enhance the safety of the family.
He said, "The Forum also provides families with all of the safety means in terms of physical, psychological, health, and environmental security. The Forum's programme will feature a number of outreach events, cultural and recreational activities, and safety presentations and workshops to instill positive values of safety within the hearts of children.
