Kuwait Amb. meets French foreign ministry staff in Paris


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwaiti Ambassador to France Ali Suleiman Al-Saeed met here Tuesday with staff members of France's Foreign Ministry, in presence of Arab ambassadors in the French capital.

"The meeting is a social diplomatic occasion that we are keen on holding at the beginning of each year in order to deepen Arab-French communication links and exchange bilateral points of views," the Kuwaiti diplomat, also Dean of the Arab diplomatic corps in France, stated to KUNA following a luncheon he held for the French guests.

The meeting is also part of continuous coordination and cooperation framework between Arab diplomatic missions and French officials, he said, adding that Kuwait's current deanship of Arab diplomatic corps constantly seeks to convey Arab point of view, on several issues of mutual interest, to the French side.

Ambassador Al-Saeed also mentioned that the meeting addressed several subjects, particularly regional and international issues, adding that recent tragic events that took place in France were the main core of mutual discussions between Arab diplomats and French officials.
