(MENAFN- QNA) HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met here today with the U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan Donald Booth and his accompanying delegation in the presence of the U.S. Ambassador to Qatar Dana Shell Smith.
Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening the peace process in Darfur and efforts being exerted to urge non-signatory Darfur armed movements to join the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) and involve them in the national dialogue in Sudan.
