Transitional government to take office in Haiti Monday


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) A transitional government was sworn in Monday in Haiti as the president seeks to patch up a political crisis that has seen parliament dissolved and the government deadlocked, dpa reported.
Haitian President Michel Martelly announced his 18 nominees for the new government on the social network Facebook late Sunday.
Former Port-au-Prince mayor Evans Paul was named prime minister.
