The author of the bestselling health and weight loss book Lean And Healthy To 100 has a plan to invert America’s overpriced and unsustainable healthcare system. He hopes this plan will virtually end disease and obesity in America and at the same time drastically reduce the cost of health insurance premiums so families can keep their hard-earned money for themselves.
Gordon Filepas a seasoned business turnaround specialist got into the health and weight loss business totally by accident. After his father died of cancer at age 66 and his only sibling a brother died of cancer just three years later at age 42 and he and his wife had two consecutive unexplained miscarriages he swore his new family would be healthy.
He states “Reinventing America’s healthcare system is a simple two-part solution: keep people from getting fat or sick in the first place through the proper preventative education; create a system where they get what they need for low or no cost and get their health insurance for virtually free. He says “America currently spends about $2.5 trillion each year on healthcare (really disease care). Only 4% of this is spent on preventative education while a whopping 75% is spent on disease treatment. This 75% becomes the revenues for the pharmaceutical industry hospitals physicians etc. American’s are never taught what they really need to know to prevent disease then trillions are spent “treating” conditions that should have never existed in the first place.”
“The solution is simple” he says. “Teach people what they need to know in the first place allow them to get their proper raw materials and nutrients that help prevent disease for free and allow them to create income by spreading the word to others. That way each family becomes a health promoter allowing them to earn income for their children’s education for retirement or to pay their healthcare insurance.”
