Kuwaiti Held With 30 Kilos Hashish


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control have arrested a Kuwaiti for possessing 30 kilos of hashish. The arrest came following a tip-off from a police agent. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, the Ahmadi police have arrested four Asians for possessing 11 sachets of heroin.

The suspects were taken in custody in Mangaf. Sources said the suspects were driving late night in the area and when a police patrol ordered the man behind the wheel to pull over, he appeared confused. Police then searched him and the three occupants of the car and seized the drugs. The drugs and the suspects have been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control

Trio held with drugs: The Jahra police have arrested three Kuwaitis for possessing drugs, drug consuming tools and seized from them money in cash, reports Al-Shahed daily. The arrest took place in Waha area when patrolmen suspected a reckless motorist and ordered him to stop. Police have also confiscated from the trio an air gun and referred them to the General Department for Drugs Control.
