Lebanon party leader hails Kuwait's humanitarian role

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Lebanese Forces party leader Samir Geagea lauded here on Sunday the great humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait everywhere in the world.

Meeting a visiting Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) delegation led by KFAED Director-General Abdulwahab Al-Bader, Geagea said Kuwait is known for humanitarian activities and that's why UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-mmon had recently granted His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the title of a "Humanitarian Leader".

"Kuwait never wastes time to help a country or people affected by a disaster, or any international humanitarian organization, with the goal of serving humans everywhere," he said.

The Lebanese party leader also appreciated the significant role played by the KFAED in development, economic and humanitarian areas in Lebanon.
