(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's permanent delegate to the Arab League Ambassador Aziz Al-Daihani met here Sunday with Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Ahmad bin Helli, discussing the latest developments of the Palestinian cause.
The meeting focused on ministerial efforts by the League Presidency, led by Kuwait, to garner international recognition for the Palestinian cause after the recent failure to do so at the UNSC, said Al-Daihani to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
A new plan will be set in motion to gather international support for the Palestinians right for an independent state, said the Kuwaiti diplomat who hoped that such a plan would be working before handing in the Presidency to Egypt next March.
