(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Lebanese Hezbollah party said Sunday a number of its elements were killed in an Israeli air raid in southern Syria.
An Israeli helicopter gunship unleashed a missile at a number of Hezbollah fighters "who were carrying out field inspection in Al-Amal Farm in Al-Qunaiterah in Syria," a statement by the party said.
It noted that it would disclose the names of those killed after informing their families.
Israel has reportedly launched raids in Syria over the past years targetting Hezbollah, particularly convoys of weapons' supply from Syria to the party.
Hezbollah is fighting alongside the Syrian regime against the opposition.
