Met office says unstable weather conditions to prevail across Oman


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The sultanate will experience unstable weather conditions from Sunday to Tuesday due to a low pressure system the Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation has said.

The Met office on Saturday said that the North Batinah and Musandam governorates could see cloudy weather on Sunday.

It said that Muscat South Batinah Dakhliyah Buraimi and North and South Sharqiyah governorates may experience moderate to heavy showers accompanied by lightning on Monday. "Several areas of Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates are also likely to witness scattered rainfall accompanied by strong winds."The Met office said that night temperatures are likely to drop. The Public Authority for Civil Aviation has asked people to avoid wadis during rain and warned fishermen against venturing into the sea.
