Qatar- Lekhwiya to Head to Muscat for Training Camp
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Lekhwiya football team are set to travel Friday to Muscat for a 10-day training camp as the club prepare for resuming Qatar Stars League games on Feb. 5.
The camp features two friendlies on Jan. 20 and 23 but the team will be without several senior squad members who are away with the national team for the Asian Cup in Australia and the Olympic team. Youssef Msakni is also away on international duty with Tunisia for the African Cup of Nations and Nam Tae-Hee is with the South Korean team in Australia.
Lekhwiya are chasing a second title in as many years and are top of the league now on goal difference ahead of Al Sadd.
