(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, will make his first official visit to the UAE on January 18th-19th.
Ambassador Alaa Youssef, spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency, said in a statement that President El-Sisi's visit to the country is an occasion to express Egypt's appreciation for the UAE's support in the wake of the 30th June Revolution, under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The ambassador hailed the strong sisterly relations between the two countries, saying that the UAE leadership and people occupy a special place in the hearts of Egyptians, and there are multi-dimensional links between the two countries and their peoples, especially in light of the presence of the Egyptian community in various parts of the UAE, whose efforts have contributed to the comprehensive renaissance movement that has elicited praise and respect.
The statement noted that during his visit, President El-Sisi will participate in the opening of the "World Future Energy Summit," held during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, at the invitation of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
