Cozmo unveils new products, eyes over Dh530m turnover


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Cozmo Travel on Wednesday introduced three new products with the aim to target middle class people and also indicated a double-digit year-on-year growth for 2015.

General manger Jamal Abdulnazar, speaking to Khaleej Times, mentioned that the company recorded Dh450 million turnover last year and expects an 18 per cent growth this year.

He informed that India will be the first market outside GCC in March this year. Headquartered in Sharjah, UAE, the footprint of Cozmo Travel covers Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain catering to the needs of individual, corporate and leisure travellers.

The company has presence at almost 55 locations in five GCC countries and looking for further expansion in new markets, according to the general manager.

Talking about the newly launched products, he said: "These are very affordable packages for middle class employed people as we are not targeting luxury market." The company had made 3,000 bookings with award winning airlines including Emirates, flydubai, Air Arabia, Qatar Airways among others. So prices will remain the same in whole year either its peak season or not, he explained.

Earlier at the news conference, Cozmo Travel, announced the launch of fixed departures, specially designed tour packages providing value-for-money to the travellers, becoming the first travel management company in the UAE to offer its guests access to book the complete tour online through their web portal www.cozmotravel.com.

Abdulnazar said that it is indeed a memorable occasion to announce the product launch as the organization enters its fifth year of operation in the commercial hub of the Middle East. "Our latest product offering is the fixed departure packages. As part of the package we offer more than 30 group tour products to Europe, South East Asia, Africa, America, Australia and New Zealand which offer unique experiences.

Our guests can choose from a wide range of destinations with an all inclusive packages including airfare, all taxes, travel insurance, visa, hotel accommodation, meals, tours, transfer and more," he explained. As an introductory offer, Cozmo Travel has a "Book now with Dh500 and pay later" for its first 100 guests. Amongst other initiatives, Cozmo Travel has been appointed as the Preferred Sales Agent by Costa Cruise.

Cozmo Travel's inbound fixed departures have already brought in close to 4,000 travellers to the UAE within a span of just three months. It is a well-known fact that tourism industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the region.

Besides fixed departures, Cozmo Travel also introduces "Beyond the Classroom", an exclusive affordable educational package keeping in mind today's holistic approach in education to develop students.

Cozmo Travel has also launched for the first time its "UAE Coach Tour", making travellers explore Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain by travelling in luxury coaches.
