Japanese PM to visit Jordan on Saturday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will start a two-day official visit to the Kingdom, during which he will hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and senior Jordanian officials.

The visit aims to bolster ties between Jordan and Japan, which enjoy deep-rooted friendly relations. The latest regional developments will also figure high on the agenda of the Japanese Prime Minister's visit.

Further, the visit is seen as an important opportunity to build on the outcome of King Abdullah's recent visit to Japan, during which a number of agreements were signed.

Prime Minister Abe will be accompanied by a high-level economic delegation.
