(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jordanian King Abdullah II and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed on phone the latest regional and international developments as well as bilateral ties and issues of common interest.
During the call, which also tackled efforts to combat terrorism, both leaders stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts through a comprehensive strategy to confront extremist ideology in order to preserve international security and stability.
They also asserted the importance of maximizing efforts to revive the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis, according to the two-state solution, as well as to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
