(MENAFN) Emirates airline announced that it has broken a record in terms of the number of services it launched in 2014 on its Airbus A380 by launching 10 new routes during the year, Gulf News reported.
The new services launched on the A380 included routes to Zurich in Switzerland, Barcelona in Spain, London Gatwick Airport, Kuwait, Mumbai, Frankfurt in Germany, Milan, Dallas, Huston and San Francisco in the United States.
The carrier also added that the launch of the Kuwait route in July marked the world's shortest scheduled A380 service, adding that it also received 13 Airbus A380s, including its 50th A380 in 2014 as well.
