(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Total executives attended the opening ceremony of Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company
(Muntajat)'s international marketing headquarters 'Muntajat Besloten Vennoot' (Muntajat BV), which recently took place in the
Hague, Netherlands. More than 40 Total employees and customers were present in the ceremony that consisted of a gala dinner, and
opening speeches of HE the Minister of Energy and Industry, Dr Mohammed bin Saleh al-Sada, and chairman of Muntajat, and Abdul
Rahman Ali al-Abdulla, CEO. In order to signify the strong relationship between Total and Muntajat, Xavier Bontemps, senior
vice-president (Polymers Business Unit) at Total, handed over a trophy to Yousef Jahem al-Kuwari, executive marketing director,
and Yousuf Darwish Fakhroo, Polymer director, Muntajat. Dr Philippe Vindevoghel, managing director (Refining & Chemicals € Qatar)
who also attended the ceremony said, "This is an important milestone for Muntajat, and we would like to congratulate them for
establishing their marketing headquarters. We have had a strong relationship with Muntajat from their establishment in 2012, and
we will continue with this strong co-operation". Total had a continuous presence in Qatar for close to 80 years, and is the only
international oil company active in all branches of Qatar's oil and gas sector. This includes exploration and production,
refining and petrochemicals, and the marketing of lubricants.
