(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) In response to an invitation from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to support the "Tarahamo" campaign, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched an internal initiative to collect donations from its employees for thousands of refugees in the Levant.
The Tarahamo campaign provides relief for refugees that have been affected by "Huda", the snowstorm that recently hit the region.
MoF has collected donations from its staff in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in collaboration with the UAE Emirates Red Crescent, which will provide relief materials to the refugees.
