Dubai's Marka expects to turn profitable in Q4

(MENAFN) Dubai's Marka, a retail and restaurant start-up, said that it expects to turn profitable in the fourth quarter of 2015, Arabian Business reported.

The company also said that it is currently looking at new acquisitions after it had acquired a sporting goods retail firm from state-owned conglomerate Dubai World in a USD60 million deal in December.

"We have another couple of acquisitions in the sports sector in mind. We're hoping these will come to fruition in the next three to six months and are also looking at four asset purchases in the food and beverage sector," Marka's Chief Executive said.
