GM to recall 100k defective units in S. Korea

(MENAFN) According to the South Korean transportation ministry, GM Korea Co. will recall 100,000 vehicles in the country on brake hose defects, Yonhap News reported.

The recall will affect three models, Cruze, Lacetti Premiere and Orlando, produced from October 13, 2008 and May 24, 2011, the local unit of US automaker General Motors Co. said.

The transportation ministry said twisted brake hose parts were used in the front wheels, which could lead to oil leaks and affect brake functions and lead to fatal accidents.
