Seven people killed, over 20 injured in dual suicide attack N. Lebanon


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Seven people were killed and over 20 injured in a double suicide attack in a cafe in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli on Saturday, official news agency reported.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at Omran Cafe in Jabal Mohsen area, and when the people gathered in the place a second suicide attacker blew up himself killing seven people and wounding more than 20 others, the agency reported.

Jabal Mohsen is an area controlled by the Arab Democratic Party, and most of its inhabitants are Alawites.

A curfew was imposed in Jabal Mohsen following the attacks. The curfew will be lifted at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.
