ADP to organise International Conference on Knowledge Management in April


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the Abu Dhabi Police will be organising the first International Conference on Knowledge Management in security institutions next April.

Major-General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, explained that the Abu Dhabi Police is achieving an international milestone by organising the first forum designed to exchange knowledge between policing institutions worldwide.

Major-General Al Nuaimi said, "This conference personifies the vision of the Abu Dhabi police General Headquarters, to ensure that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi remains a community enjoying security and safety, by providing high-quality police services to citizens, residents and visitors of the emirate." Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Regions Directorate, Chairman of the Knowledge Higher Committee, pointed that the success of the conference will mark a paramount success for the UAE in international forums.

The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has adopted the Knowledge Charter, to take part in the quest to building a knowledge-based economy, and achieve the Government's vision becoming one of the top five governments in the world. It also demonstrates the importance of knowledge and its significant role in building institutional excellence.
