Jacksonville FL (January 08 2015):- Friends and family in the Jacksonville community have always rallied around each other in times of need. Whether it’s been for a neighbor fighting cancer or a family who lost their house in a fire those in the community have long held fundraising events like spaghetti dinners and silent auctions to help their neighbors through difficult times.
Now through a growing trend called crowdfunding they are taking these efforts online. Friends and family of Megan Danver have set up a crowdfunding page on the popular crowdunding website GiveForward.com. More than one million people have contributed over $100 million on GiveForward with 99 cents out of every dollar going directly to the people in need.
So far the friends and family of Megan Danver have raised $2945 of the $9000 needed for funeral expenses since the campaign launched on December 30 2014.
Megan Christian Danver blessed this earth with her divine spirit for 27 years. On December 27th after celebrating the holidays with her 11 month old son Christian Nathaniel Hooper boyfriend Brent Hooper and close family she passed away peacefully in her sleep. She would have been 28 on December 31 2014 and her son Christian survived by his father Brent turns 1.
Megan viewed life in a way that most people could have only dreamed of viewing vicariously. Her sense of beauty was expressed from a cosmic sea of angelic energy. She was an idealist in the sense that most religions would have por¬trayed her as a saint. With the patience of one too. An angelic being among mortals. A lover of life and all of nature. One glimpse from her eyes would have been enough to intuitively sense the empathy strength and beauty of the inner garden she thrived in. Like a tiger exploring the jungle in search of a twin flame.
As most people have experienced in life we all have inner demons that we battle with. Her demons happened to have been the metamorphism and cleansing of the negative experiences that she would absorb from others in facing their tribulations. She was one to carry the world on her shoulders nurturing her ideals of a better world. Her spirited self¬less acts were the beauty of nature spiraling out from deep within her huge heart. Those that have been fatefully bless¬ed with her presence still carry a seed of love left by her. The largest seed of motherly love that she planted on earth is her son Christian. Look into his eyes and you can see a pure universe within him.
When she was younger she chose the option to be an organ donor without question. Today we heard news that her corneas were harvested to help those in need of sight. Even in the after life she has given the greatest gift of seeing the world through angel eyes. Her divinity will guide them through their darkest hours. Her compassion will always reso¬nate deep within her loved ones. May her wings forever flutter waves of love through the universe.
As Megan’s brother Daniel Danver my family and I ask you with a heavy heart for a donation for our family to cover the funeral cost. With such a sudden lose our families financial ability to celebrate her life is juxtaposed to the cost of the end of life process. Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes spread into the ocean so she could forever guide the tides of life. Help us grant Megan’s last ideal in honor of all those that she has touched. A mother of endless love a daughter of divine light a sister in the heavens. You will be truly missed Megan. We love you!
