(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Dar Al Ber Society extended its profound gratitude and appreciation to the UAE brave armed forces, and affirmed participation in the activities of the 'Thank You, Guardians of our Nation' initiative.
Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said they are so proud of the UAE armed forces, the watchful eye and invincible fortress that avert all risks and threats.
"Our prudent leadership spares no effort to impart the spirit and values of loyalty, dedication and sacrifice to the nation in the hearts and minds of all Emirati citizens." The over 35-year-old charity association, run by Dubai Government, commended His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for his gesture to dedicate the celebrations of his accession day this year in honour of the UAE Armed Forces, and for calling on others to follow suit.
"His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum always impresses us every year with a new initiative that gives us positive energy, motivates excellent performance, and teaches us something creative. May Allah protect you Abu Rashid, and thanks to the watchful guardians of the nation." Al Mazrouie said each and every individual should show dedication to the beloved country, and does their responsibilities as due. "This is actually an honour rather than a duty, whether it is a paid, voluntary or cooperative work.
"The foundations of charity work across the UAE have been laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed, whose generosity reached every nook and corner of the globe that the country has now ranked high among top philanthropists worldwide.
"Charitable, humanitarian, and relief work here, which is a pride to us all, integrates with the role of the armed forces which devotedly help brothers and friends in line with the instructions of the President His Highness the President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
"They have much helped in establishing a nation of splendour and dignity, which gathered people under one roof, and built Armed Forces to protect and shield the homeland, and enhance love, peace, security, stability, and progress," he noted.
"May Almighty Allah keep the UAE prosperous, secure, safe, and unified, protect its rulers, people, and armed forces, which serve as an invincible shield of the nation, have mercy on our martyr soldiers and rest their souls in eternal peace, bless the warriors of Khalifa, and make their victory everywhere an honour and pride to the whole nation," Al Mazrouie prayed.
