China's express deliveries grow 52 percent

(MENAFN) The total revenue of China's express delivery market hit USD33 billion in 2014, up 42 percent, data showed, QNA reported.

Businesses made 14 billion deliveries last year, the most in the world and 52 percent up from 2013, to the State Post Bureau (SPB).

"From 1 billion deliveries in 2006 to 14 billion in 2014, the express delivery sector has grown quickly," said SPB chief.

China will help domestic express delivery companies expand overseas this year to support the cross-border online shopping market, local media reported.
