OIC Condemns Terrorist Attack on Charlie Hebdo Magazine in France


(MENAFN- QNA) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the terrorist act against the office of Charlie Hebdo Magazine in Paris A statement posted on OIC website said the Spokesperson of the Islamophobia Observatory at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah strongly condemned the terrorist act against the office of Charlie Hebdo Magazine in Paris on Wednesday.

The Spokesperson added that such acts of terror only represent the criminal perpetrators; and reiterated OIC's unwavering and principled position, which condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, asserting that violence and radicalism were, indeed, the biggest enemies of Islam and went against all its fundamental principles and values.

The Spokesperson expressed the OIC's hope that the perpetrators would be apprehended and brought to justice by the concerned French authorities; and conveyed deepest sympathies, condolences and solidarity to the bereaved families, as well as the best wishes for the earliest recover of the wounded victims.
