Ajman University: Inspiring visit to Pangyo Techno Valley, South Korea


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) A senior management delegation from Ajman University, headed by Osama Salman, Vice-President of Ajman University, has visited Pangyo Techno Valley, PVT. The Science Park, one of the biggest in South Korea, is a complex of buildings spanning thousands of square meters, which house research and development facilities in the arenas of information technology, bio-technology, cultural technology and fusion technology.

The delegates were welcomed by Jong Lim, Manager, PVT and Inji Choi, Manager of the Entrepreneurship Centre, and were given a comprehensive tour of the facilities and briefed upon the practical layout of the infrastructure. The site has direct research facilities, research developing facilities, and university-related research facilities.

The Pangyo Techno Valley aims to be a hub of technology in South Korea and has already invested around US$5.27 billion. The site encompasses guest houses, dormitories, a specialised graduate school, and public support centre, which includes an entrepreneurship centre, supporting start-up companies.
