(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Emirates Post Group, EPG, has honoured some of its distinguished leaders at the EPG Leadership Awards 2014 ceremony, presided over by Fahad Al Hosani, Acting Chief Executive Officer of EPG. The winners were selected from 22 leaders nominated from various sectors, departments and zones.
In his welcome address, Al Hosani lauded the initiative, held for the first time by the Group, inspired by the standards of leadership laid down in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme, and said that good leadership provides the key to development and the success of every organisation.
He thanked Dubai Police headquarters in particular for its consistent support for EPG, including in the evaluation of the nominees for the leadership awards.
The winners were Abdullah Al Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post, in the Best CEO category, Mohammed Kamal, CEO of Commercial Development in the Best Director category, Yousuf Al Khaja, Senior Manager of Customer Support, and Sultan Abdullah Al-Hajji, Senior Manager IT infrastructure in the Best Departmental Manager category, Ms. Thamnah Nekhaira Al Sharifi, Director of 1st Postal Zone and Abdullah Salem Bosomnoh, Director of 3rd Postal Zone, in the Best Postal Zone Manager category.
