Kuwait condemns terrorist attacks on Saudi border guards


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Kuwait has condemned the "terrorist" attack against Saudi border guards that killed three security men and wounded two others, while commending the vigilance of the Saudi border guards in preserving security and stability.

The Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, quoted the Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah, as saying in a statement, "The Council of Ministers condemns the terrorist attack that took place yesterday against one of the border guard partrols in the northern border region of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia." The government, headed by His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, commended the vigilance of Saudi border guards in preserving the security and stability of the Kingdom. Sheikh Mohammad also underlined the "serious efforts" exerted by Saudi Arabia towards the elimination of terrorism.
