Today in China there are a number of very concerning problems
related to clean water consumption for a booming population all of which are related to pollution in the air as well as in their rivers. The problem is of course from China's ever increasing need for power which is primarily generated from burning coal and from petrochemical plants that have an average of 1700 "Accidents" on an annual basis. Clean up projects such as major distillation plants are under way but the most challenging issue they face is the scarcity of fresh water for drinking which they can't currently sustain. Even when the government cleans up the rivers and pulls back on burning coal the on going Mega drought means they still wont have enough
water for their people. There is one glimmer of hope for China and the rest of the world which is the most creative and innovative solution I have ever seen to solve these water issues.
