UAE's Jannah group to expand business by 2020

(MENAFN) The UAE's Jannah Hotels and Resorts group announced it is planning to expand its business by opening 30 new hotels by 2020 across the Gulf, Khaleej Times reported.

The Abu Dhabi hotel group said that its expansion plans include opening new venues in Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia, though it said that it plans to open the majority of the 30 hotels will be within the UAE.

"Abu Dhabi's tourism sector will continue to grow through 2015 due to conferences, exhibitions, sports, cultural and art events, with the emirate already being a key destination for foreign tourists, thanks to the promotion efforts done by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and Etihad Airways," vice president of operations for Jannah said.

Currently, the company has plans to open new hotels in Liwa in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi, as well as open two in Abu Dhabi, the Burj Al Sarab and the Andalus al Seef Resort, which will be designed following the villa suites style, with Burj Al Sarab expected to be opened in February of this year.
