Al Jaber Group wins SR1.8 billion Abha Airport development project
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Al Jaber Group's KSA branch has been awarded the Abha Airport development project in the capital of the Asir Province in Saudi Arabia. The project includes a new 86,000sqm passenger terminal that will be able to accommodate five million passengers annually.
The construction period is expected to be 36 months and the airport will feature 20 boarding bridges, a parking apron and parallel corridors to accommodate 26 airplanes simultaneously, with parking for 2,800 vehicles.
Obaid Khaleefa Al Jaber Al Marri, Chairman of Al Jaber Group, said, "Al Jaber Group's KSA branch is witnessing substantial growth since we started our operations in Riyadh last year. We were able to compete for and win sizable projects including the Abha Airport development project. These wins reflect the ongoing success of the Al Jaber Group and our ability to deliver best-in-class services."
