UAE- ExxonMobil donates Dh151000 to Red Crescent


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Hatem Shaker vice-president of ExxonMobil handed over the US companys donation to Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi deputy secretary-general of ERC for International Aid.

Abu Dhabi — ExxonMobil recently donated Dh151000 to Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) to support the UAE humanitarian agency’s domestic and international efforts to help the underprivileged and victims of natural disasters.



Hatem Shaker vice-president of ExxonMobil handed over the US company’s donation to Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi deputy secretary-general of ERC for International Aid last week during his visit to the agency’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.



Al Shamsi hailed ExxonMobil’s donation as a positive gesture that shows the company’s humanitarian responsibility towards the underprivileged segments targeted by ERC’s operations.



During the meeting attended by other ExxonMobil officials Al Shamsi gave a presentation on ERC’s humanitarian operations and partnerships with individual and corporate supporters as part of its efforts to help the victims of conflicts and disasters. — Wam
