(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Dr. Maytha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State and Chairwoman of the Marriage Fund, has approved the names of the 11th batch of beneficiaries of the Marriage Fund for 2014.
A total of 372 recipients will benefit from grants totalling over AED13.83 million. The allocated money for each beneficiary has been transferred to their bank accounts, along with an SMS notification.
The Marriage Fund helps citizens by providing a financial grant to encourage them to build a cohesive family and contribute toward social stability.
Dr. Al Shamsi extended her thanks to Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for his "Thank You, Guardians of the Nation" campaign to dedicate the celebrations of his accession day to the UAE Armed Forces, asking all individuals and organisations to share the message of thanks and support for the brave sons and daughters of the UAE.
It has been the custom of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed to dedicate his accession day, the 4th of January, to members of the community who deserve recognition, asking all citizens and residents to join in the celebration by expressing their gratitude to these people however they see fit.
