(MENAFN) The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization said that it has held meetings with UAE officials to discuss the importance of increasing cooperation in the fields of air transit and transportation between the two countries, Iran Daily reported
"In a bid to expand air transportation cooperation between the two countries, bilateral relations should develop and grow more stable. The UAE is also required to compile a written plan with mechanisms for protecting both sides' interests," the head of Iranian Civil Aviation Organization said
During the meeting, UAE requested to further its consultations and negotiations with Iran to boost air transportation cooperation, with the UAE saying that it plans to continue flights over the Iranian airspace.
