Eight missing after freighter overturns north of Scotland


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Eight crew members are missing, feared dead, after
their cargo ship overturned in stormy seas off the north coast of
Scotland, dpa quoted news reports as saying Saturday.

The upturned hull of the Cyprus-registered Cemfjord was spotted 24
kilometres north-east of Wick.

Four lifeboats and two rescue helicopters were searching for the
missing crew with Shetland coastguard co-ordinating rescue efforts,
the BBC reported.
