National Guard's military and developmental achievements in 2014


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The National Guard witnessed during the year of 2014 the implementation of a number of developmental projects in military, medical, cultural and educational fields under the direct supervision of Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, who inspects periodically the readiness of the military capabilities of the National Guard, and is keen to promote it for the interest of the homeland and its citizens.
These projects come within the framework of the overall vision to build the National Guard, which was founded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his presidency of the National Guard in 1382 AH, to be turned within decades from conventional units into a modern military force having a military and civilizational weight that contributes to the march of the national development in the Kingdom.
Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has been concerned with the development of the personnel of the National Guard through a combination of military, educational, training, and foreign scholarship fields to develop their skills and abilities in all areas needed by the National Guard in various military and civilian sectors, emanating from the concern for the human development which is considered as the present and future of building nations.
