Michael Schumacher cries to voices of wife kids


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Michael Schumacher has been reported to have a shed a tear every now and then at the sound of his wife and children's voices.

With scarce news about the long and slow recovery of seven-time Formula One world champion reports on his 46th birthday as of January 3 state that Michael Schumacher is crying at the sound of his wife Corinna and daughter Gina Maria and son Mick’s voices.



According to a report in an Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra: “He cries. And sometimes mysteriously. He cries when he hears his children his wife's voice his dogs. In the silence of that room a tear runs down his thin face at a known sound.



"Michael has his eyes open but he is often looking into a void.”



The report added “In recent times he has been able to recognise the familiar faces of his family but he cannot communicate with them. Inside this we can find... There is life enclosed in a drop; there is the strength of a man who is moved and that moves each of us. We have his tears his senses exposed.”



A while ago former F1 driver Philippe Streiff had said that Schumacher has yet to recover the power of speech but is nevertheless starting to recognise those close to him. He also cited that he cannot speak and has memory problems.



Schumacher suffered severe head injuries after skiing with his family in the French Alps in December of 2013 leaving him with brain damage and in a coma for six months.
