Saudi- Pork pasta sold in KSA markets
(MENAFN- Arab News) Field inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have uncovered large quantities of pork pasta in some cities of the Kingdom including Riyadh Jeddah Taif Hail Bisha and Yanbu sabq.com online paper has reported.
The Saudi Food and Drugs Authority (SFDA) said that they will cooperate with the agencies concerned to look into the ways though which these products were introduced into the Saudi market despite the fact that the SFDA has rejected the clearance of these products due to their incompatibility with national standards in containing pork derivatives and gelatin with unknown sources the SFDA said on its website (www.sfda.gov.sa).
