HE the Deputy Prime Minister Attends Inauguration of Brazil President


(MENAFN- QNA) HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud participated in the inauguration ceremony of President Dilma Rousseff of the Republic of Brazil that was held on Thursday at the presidential palace in Brasilia and attended by a number of heads of state and government and senior officials and personalities.
Representing Qatar in the inauguration ceremony, HE Al Mahmoud conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to President Dilma Rousseff as well as His Highness's wishes of further progress and prosperity to the relations between the two countries.
President Rousseff entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs to convey her greetings to HH the Emir and her thanks for Qatar's participation in the inauguration ceremony, while whishing HH the Emir continued health and the ties between the two countries more growth and development.
The event was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Brazil Mohammed Ahmed Al Hayki, as well.
President Rousseff was elected for a second term in office last October.
