UAE- Nightclub announces hefty array of star DJs for January


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Nicknamed the mad hatter of dance music by Mixmag the British artist has remixed for the likes of Mark Ronson and Calvin Harris and he has also hosted a monthly show on Radio 1 and composed music for the London Olympics.

Zero Gravity nightclub is already staking its claim for the UAE’s hottest party spot in 2015 with an impressive roster of talent lined up for this month alone.



The bill of international acts at the Dubai Marina club begins on Friday January 9 with eccentric electro DJ-producer Kissy Sell Out.

Thursday January 15 sees a visit from Creamfields regular Anton Powers. Known to perform under the moniker Cahill his signature 2008 song Trippin on You became a favourite with WAGs from his native Liverpool.



Abbey Clancy Alex Curran and Coleen McLoughlin - the wives of footballers Peter Crouch Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney respectively - made the tune their ringtones as reported in The Sun newspaper.



After a successful November set Chicane returns on Friday January 16.



Born Nick Bracegirdle in England the DJ-producer is famed for UK top 10 hits including Stoned in Love (with Tom Jones) Poppiholla Saltwater (with Maire Brennan) and the number one Don’t Give Up (with Bryan Adams).



DJ Yoda will offer revellers his renowned audio/visual treats on Thursday January 22.



The hip-hop supremo is known for his ability to scratch everything from ‘80s pop tracks to country classics and cartoon theme tunes.



Friday January 23 will see a double-header as two American greats combine on one bill.



Junior Sanchez who has produced for Katy Perry and Good Charlotte will be joined by Subliminal Records stalwart Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero who was once named Musik Magazine’s Remixer of the Year.



And finally to round the month off Krafty Kuts and A.Skillz will be mashing things up on Thursday January 29.



The longtime collaborators have played Glastonbury Festival together as well as releasing tracks. Krafty - aka Martin Reeves - has also recorded music on Fatboy Slim’s label and scored commercials for Coca-Cola and Playstation 2.



Entrance to Zero Gravity for Velocity (Thursday) and Aurora (Friday) events is free before 10pm and Dhs100 after while ladies are free before midnight and Dhs100 after.
