UAE- Boy falls off hill in Ras Al Khaimah while fixing national flag


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Emirati boy was fixing a 115-metre high flag along with his friends on a hill near his house in Ghalila area to the north of the Emirate of RAK.

A 14-year-old Emirati boy received serious injuries after he fell off a hill while fixing a UAE flag in Ras Al Khaimah.



According to a relative the child identified as Manea Saeed Al Shehi was fixing a 115-metre high flag along with his friends on a hill near his house in Ghalila area to the north of the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.



“The boy insisted on participating in the festivities of the UAE’s 43rd National Day” the relative said.



Al Shehi climbed the hill but his feet slipped off the peak and he fell 10 metres below. “Fortunately he got stuck between two big rocks otherwise he would have crashed to the bottom of the hill.”



The boy sustained serious injuries and bruises on his head legs and all over his body the relative who wished to remain anonymous said.



His friends rushed to his aid where they found him unconscious and unable to move. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is recuperating in a stable condition. -ahmedshaabankhaleejtimes.com
