UAE- Shaikh Hamdan donates blood


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai Crown Prince called up on all residents to participate in a blood donation campaign that will take place at the Global Village on December 3 and 4.

“There is nothing more precious than my UAE...” tweeted Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council on the UAE’s 43rd National Day while holding up a bag of blood that he had just donated.



Posting pictures through his official Twitter handle HamdanMohammed and Facebook page he called up on all residents to participate in a blood donation campaign that will take place at the Global Village on December 3 and 4 as part of the UAE National Day celebrations.



“Join us for the blood donation campaign “My Blood for My UAE” at the Global Village” he said.



Shaikh Hamdan has over 874000 followers on Twitter while over a million people like his Facebook page.



Commenting on his posts several people said they would donate while others said it was nice gesture. A Facebook user Alexander Harrow said: “I feel at home here ... I’ll donate for the love of the UAE.”
