Vietnam's trade surplus to post USD1.984b in 2014


(MENAFN) Vietnam is projected to post a trade surplus of USD1.984 billion in 2014, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) said on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.

The information was released at a teleconference held by MoIT in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on reviewing task implementation in 2014 of the sector.

According to areport posted on the website of MoIT on Wednesday, Vietnam's total export revenue in 2014 is expected to reach USD150 billion, up 13.6 percent annually.

Export revenue of domestic companies is projected to hit USD48.44 billion, up 10.4 percent annually, showed the report, adding that Vietnam has 23 export items with export revenue of over USD1 billion in 2014.
