(MENAFN- Arab News) The private sector has created job opportunities for 100000 young Saudi men and women says Hisham Al-Amodi chairman of PR and communications at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
The private sector continues to support the establishment of crisis management committees in the corporate sector and is prepared to give an opportunity to qualified youth for contributing to the Kingdom's development.
The statement was made at the opening of the workshop on planning and management of PR on Monday which was attended by a large number of managers and administrators of companies and institutions to educate their members about the importance of PR (Public Relations).
JCCI Secretary General Adnan Mandoura stressed the importance of PR administration and service and promotion of effective cooperation in the interest of all-round development and progress.
'Even if we succeed in convincing 10 percent of the companies and institutions about the important role of PR in the Kingdom we could generate more than 100000 jobs for youth. We need to dispel the belief that PR is a seasonal profession associated with a period or a particular problem. We are working to correct this image by hosting the program with experts and specialists in PR in the presence of a large number of leaders and influencers who can benefit others with their experience' he added.
