Essebsi Sworn in as Tunisia President
(MENAFN- QNA) Tunisia's President Beji Caid Essebsi took oath of office Wednesday during a parliament session dedicated to the handing over of power.
The session was attended by the current prime minister and government members in addition to the outgoing president and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to Tunisia.
Essebsi delivered a speech during which he pledged to work towards national reconciliation after winning the country's first free election.
After taking the oath, Essebsi told parliament he would be "the president of all Tunisians."
