Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, visited Al Dhafra Festival in Al Gharbia, being held under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Nahyan commended the keen interest that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan takes in the revival of the heritage of our fathers and grandfathers and his continuous support to the community and popular events in the country.
Sheikh Nahyan also praised the generous care of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, when it comes to the festival related activities, and the follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region.
During his visit to Al Dhafra Festival in Al Gharbia, Sheikh Nahyan underlined that the festival was an overall success because all the factors leading to such a success were taken care of, praising the support of the wise leadership to the heritage festivals that reinforce the foundations of the economy, stability and security.
Sheikh Nahyan was accompanied by a number of senior officials.
