(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The President of the Security Council urgently informed the members of the Council that a public meeting in connection with the agenda item "The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question" will be convened this evening.
The public council meeting will take place at (1700 hours) New York time.
An Arab meeting was held Monday evening, of which they discussed amendments on the draft resolution aimed at ending Israeli occupation and establishing Palestinian State.
Jordanian Ambassador Dina Kawar told the reporters yesterday, that they discussed several issues concerning the amendments that palestine has recommended after putting the resolution in blue version.
The amendments of different issues, such as Jerusalem, prisoners, water, settlements and the illegitimate wall that was condemned by the international court, she told the reporters.
